As an Environmental Staff Project Manager, you are a natural leader with a strong work ethic. You have a passion for the environment and are extremely detail-oriented when conducting your tests and assessments. You are comfortable both out on the field as well as in the office setting writing reports and budgeting. You have great communication skills and are able to easily interact with your team and clients. You are extremely hard working and strive to ensure that your team delivers the best quality. You know how to set the bar high and not only achieve that goal yourself – but bring others along with you. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:
Daily management of all phases of environmental projects:
Phase I/II Studies, wetland delineations, groundwater and soil investigations
Risk Assessments and Hydrogeologic Studies
Remediation System Design, underground storage tank assessment and remediation assessments
Industrial Hygiene Services – including Asbestos, lead based paint, mold, indoor air quality assessments, and health and safety
Report and proposal preparation and review
Budgeting daily and ongoing activities as well as invoicing
Marketing including daily on-going client interaction and development of a client database
BS in Geology or a discipline related to Environmental Science
1-3 years of Geology, Environmental Engineering or related experience
Engineer in Training (EIT) or Geologist in Training (GIT) license would go a long way
